Say Cheese Ending (Roblox): Photograph the Smiling People
On this page
The Say Cheese Ending shares its name with the game, and it is one of the most surprising endings in Say Cheese!. It looks like it should be wholesome: you photograph people smiling. But players who unlock the Say Cheese Ending find out it goes somewhere else entirely. Here is how to get it in about a minute.

How to Get the Say Cheese Ending
- Start a run. No setup is needed.
- Find someone smiling. The most detailed walkthrough simply keeps taking pictures of people smiling.
- Catch the "say cheese" moment. A second community guide describes watching for the character or moment where someone says "say cheese".
- Take three photos of it. That same guide says to photograph the moment three times, and to make sure you are capturing the right character or interaction.
Tips and Common Mistakes
- Smiles, not crowds. A wide group shot leads to the Reverse Ending. Focus on the smiling character.
- Do not chase the fight. Photographing the square and the circle starts the Viral Ending route.
- Make each shot count. If the ending does not play after three photos, check that the person in frame is actually smiling.
Why It Is Not the Wholesome Ending You Expect
One walkthrough creator put it plainly: they thought it would be another wholesome ending, but they were wrong. We will not spoil what happens, but if you are going for the happy routes, the Good Ending and the Peace Ending are the ones to aim for.
The twist fits the game's theme. Say Cheese! casts you as a journalist for "Big Media", and even a picture of a smile becomes a headline you do not control.
You can start a run from the Say Cheese Roblox page.
